Where are they now?

Do you ever wonder what your favourite teachers get up to when the glorious summer days of Pilgrims are finished? Well, wonder no more…

It’s hard to imagine our staff not waking up with strange objects in their brightly coloured hats, or ending their days creating the perfect cocoa. Well, believe it or not there comes a time when we have to hang up our yellow t-shirts and wipe the egg off our faces.

Let’s find out about Niccolò Misul’s Pilgrims journey and what he has been up to since he left Pilgrims…

Pilgrims has been a massive part of my life growing up. In fact, I went on my first course when I was only an 11-year kid who couldn’t speak a word of English. In the following seven years I managed to meet hundreds of new friends from all over the world attending different centres such as Sandwich, Cranbrook and Bradfield. When I was 18 I had the privilege of being asked to join the amazing Pilgrims team, and throughout the years went from being a work experience to programme staff to finally assistant director/director. Thanks to Pilgrims I learnt and incredibly improved my English. I consider myself a good example of what these courses can do for you. I now live in London where I work as a TV journalist for CNBC. Now that my WOW days seem to have come to an end, I look back and realize that these 14 years have been an absolutely amazing and life-changing experience! WOW’”
